Googling has revealed that it is now mandatory to tie the licence key to a Microsoft account. Now the problem with office 2016 in particular is that it requires me to sign in to an MS account if I want to activate the product. The rest of us are using older office at the moment. Some new computers arrived and with them keys for office 2016. ![]()
